Plaza Power manufactures world-class monocrystalline solar panels designed with next-generation PERC cell technology, which promises higher performance compared with standard PV modules. Sun Light capture at the Solar Cell is improved by the PERC architecture. A dielectric layer on the mono PERC solar panel cell reflects sunlight to the cell, which would otherwise pass through the cell without releasing an electron. This allows the photon to create more electrons, increasing electric current and efficiency.

Plaza Power decided to add Half-cut technology-based solar panels to its product portfolio in response to increased demand for high-efficiency and more powerful solar panels. The solar panel is split into two halves in half-cut technology, allowing the top and bottom halves to work as two separate panels, generating enough electricity even if one half is shaded. Traditional monocrystalline or Mono PERC solar panels include 60 to 72 solar cells, however half-cut solar panels split the cells in half to increase the number of cells to 120 to 144. By cutting the cells in half, resistive losses are reduced, enhancing module efficiency and producing more watts.
